i spoke with kendall kelly monday

some of you may or may not know, but i am close with the kelly family. i spoke with him monday to see how his visit to lsu went. he said he had a great time and had more fun at lsu than anywhere else. he said bama isnt completely out of the picture, but he says he's down to clemson and lsu with clemson having a slight edge. i asked him if he would choose another school based on randles decision. he said that isnt the case and he would actually like to play alongside randle because he knows they could do something special. dont be suprised if kelly puts on the p&g hat come nsd. if i talk to him again before then i will let all of you know

ive seen kendall play his entire football career. he was hurt most of this year and his numbers were down but he is a great wr.

he said clemson was a slight lead because he knows he can get a chance to compete for playing time from day 1, and he really likes dabo and the rest of the clemson coaching staff. he wont choose based soley on playing time though. he knows he is good enough to make an impact at lsu in a year or two.
he hasnt completely ruled out bama. he is being pressured from every one here in gadsden to go to bama, but he says he would like to go to college out of state

i've heard he likes the idea of playing the slot for us, though i think dabo has done a good job selling him and i think he ends up at clemson.

in a way it will, and in a way it wont. it would suprise me in a way because he told me they are his #3 right now and he wants to play out of state. in a way it wouldnt because dre kirkpatrick has been his best friend for years and he might be in his ear trying to get him to go to bama. since they are such good friends i am hoping that dre respects his friends decision on playing somewhere other than bama and wont try and pressure him into it. kendall is a great kid and isnt trying to lead anyone on. if he does end up choosing alabama then i will be upset but i will wish him the best of luck and cheer him on except for when he plays lsu. right now im comfortable that he wont choose bama

So if knowing he may not get the playing time he'd like at LSU but yet feels lining up possibly beside RR in the future could produce a great product, why not make the P&G transition?
