but he really didn't have a great angle on Dorsett.

it always looked to me like he raced him to the 20 from that angle and when they got there Dorsett had a few feet on him then he just overtook him. I mean I'm not taking anything away from it at all, it was amazing, just seems like he was 10 or so yds behind Dickerson(straight behind) and still ran him down.

it looked to me like TD had a yard or two on Green when Green came into the frame. they then raced to the 20 (TD in a straight line, Green having to cover more distance with the angle), then Green continued tracking him down.

I wish we had a whole field shot on the Dickerson run.

Just the way that Green runs is amazing....it's like he is floating and VERY fast guys like Dorsett and Dickerson are plodding fullbacks.

+1. I looked hard for it on youtube, but I remember seeing it when I was a kid and it always stood out to me.

bullshite. I still think Deion is faster.

I can't really tell from the "Deion" video, but it looks like at :49 he outruns Green.

Tigre, he could have been an Olympic sprinter and played so far past in terms of age for a corner it was ridiculous. As I stated in a previous post he was quite simply the best football player ever in terms of size and impact upon every game he played in. That impact should have been larger but Joe Gibbs was a fricking conservative loser in using him on kick and punt returns.

you can think that all you want. Deion had a chance in his prime to race a 30+ year old Green in the NFL's fastest man races. he wanted none of it.

Didn't DG and Deion race each other in a practice in 2000 and DG got him by a step?

When Primetime played for Dallas Qbs rarely threw it that way.

When my bro and I played PS1 I would put Deion at WR and use the Hail Mary play.He could never defend it

Darrell Green is pound for pound the best player ever in NFL history.

Agreed. Anyone know what is he up to now? I always thought he'd be a great analyst on one of the networks. One of the few Redskin players I respected through my hatred for that franchise.

He was by far the fastest player on Tecmo Bowl, but I'd never play with them. Always tried my best with Chicago, Giants, Raiders, or 49ers. Damn I hated the Redskins.

Darrell Green not playing special teams allowed him to play into his 40's. So it was a good call. Fastest man in NFL history and doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves.

If we're looking for an analyst off those old Skins team, remember Charles Mann on Edge NFL Matchup?
