about his status at LSU?

I understand it may not be the coaches fault for him not being cleared, but there should have been a sit down with him and his folks on the status of things and where the fault should be placed.

Is it unreasonable to think he should have been assured before he left Baton Rouge of his place?

Is it possible that Pratt was told by coaches that he was not to enroll in January unless he was paying his own way since his scholarship offer was contingent on someone else not signing with LSU?

Because if someone else higher on the board wants to sign and the coaches accept that, then DP has no scholly offer at all.

Its not impossible but I dont think that is the case. Unless its Trent Richardson, only possible scenario.

If that is the case I'm ashamed that our coaches would allow the young man to travel all the way to Baton Rouge without telling him his offer was revoked.

I just don't see that being the case.

Somebody dropped the ball on this one at LSU by letting this guy get to Baton Rouge and not being able to enroll.

I would take that trade, but its still would kinda be fricked up to pull someone's scholly after being a solid commit for so long

Everything I've read says that he wasn't cleared by the clearing house to enroll. Apparently he's pissed about the whole situation, is taking it out on LSU, has decommitted and most likely isn't coming back by what he is saying right now. Just throwing out info, don't shoot the messenger.

If its just a clearinghouse issue, then its totally immature on his part to blame LSU, IMO. We need to be in his house and in his ear soon, c'mon coaching staff. Unless, it was something provoked by the coaching staff...

too much smoke to think it's strictly clearinghouse IMO. some shite def. went down, but i have no idea what it was. either way we are losing a terrific athlete who was solid to us since he'd committed. very sad to see things end up this way. sucks even worse for him that he'll have to play for oklahoma state.

Maybe there was some ole" well get it handled for you " talk because he was on the border line, but my cousin had an offer to LA tech and didn't make clearinghouse. He did not blame tech rest his soul, be blamed himself for not doing the damn schoolwork. If this is the case, we don't want a kid like that anyway. ( Not saying it is) It is more of a problem for LSU because they are too late to probably pick up a new running back recruit.

this makes sense then

miles acknowledged it was a clearinghouse issue.
dexter supposedly acknowledged it was a clearinghousse issue.. all this other hearsay is just speculation

i wonder if this pratt situation is related to singleton coming in the picture all of a sudden?
