Was as impressive as any player in last nights game.
Josh had a great week of practice and was rewarded with double teams throughout the game, starting on first series.
I have watched #77 dominate in high school the last couple of years and hoped he would be able to carry it to the next level. Last night was a step in that direction.

we've been hearing forever that this kid is underrated and is often considered one of the best DLs in the country, why the hell doesn't his ranking reflect that?

If Downs is going to play DT instead of center that may be the reasoning for not offering Sentimore

downs has a motor and can clog up the middle, but he also plays very smart. Every time the white team tried a screen pass Downs was around the rb.

Because the $9 recruiting services don't care about Committed players.

I was very impressed with him. He got a sack on one play and on the next play they double teamed him and he still got pressure on the QB.

Very Impressive looking player.

Miles was going to switch Downs to OG and maybe Center. After last night better leave him at DT he was a beast.

Is it just me or does the Downs scenario shake out much the same as a cat named Dorsey a few years ago?

agreed, the consistent double teams during the game speaks volumes about what he must have been doing in practice during the week. can't wait to see this kid play in college

Not just you. I posted the same thought last night in the game thread. Same height, weight, strength, hustle, speed, motor. Obviously I was very impressed, and glad that he is a TIGER.
