well we are still in the 08 season. He only said that bc of recruits, they will choke once or twice like they have been doing the past 3 seasons. With the talent that program has and the conference they play in, they should be in the national championship game every year.

My point was Pete knew what he was saying doesn't matter and it still resonates through the media and college football. If Les would have came out and said the same thing you would have praised him. Get over USC. We don't play them. I HATE THEM....but I can get over them. Why would he say anything different? It's media coverage that will most likely get him recruits. He's doing his job.

Well if we are going to get technical and that's the case then LSU can definitely hang with USC this fall.. especially with USC losing their defensive studs to the draft along with possibly losing Sanchez? USC may be a reloading team annually but they are losing some serious studs defensively to the NFL draft and their offense is not what it use to be.

He is living in a delusional world where the Pac 10 is equal to or better than the SEC, Big 12 etc.
