Fake Punt Decided by player?

Is there any chance the player saw the "hot read" and knew he could get it. Much like the Arizona game a few years ago when Jackson threw from like his own 10 because the gunner wasn't covered. That was his call not the coaches.

Les said it himself... the players are there to have fun, they worked on the play all season, let them have fun with it I say.

I think the coaches called it for the players to enjoy. He's getting them ready for next year.

I doubt it. Jones and the punter would have to be on the same page. At that point in the game I doubt they would have both been thinking fake punt without input from the coaches.

yeah and the blocking scheme was obviously part of the play.

all good points, the first thing i thought of was the arizona game. i liked the call.
