Was I stupid? (betting)

I somehow am 1 game away from a 14 team parlay. It is Hawaii money line. I could have hedged it by placing it on the Colorado St ML but instead I put a bet on Colorado St +6 for a possible middle. 
Am I a fool for not hedging? It is for $1800. I think the hedge would have been for 600 winning 1200 one way and 1320 the other. But now I can win either 800, 920, or 2600 by putting 880 on C St +6.

Well I'm no genius, but I'm pretty sure Hawaii lost 3 nights ago.

The wagers on your prognostications used to just consist of whether or not you'd post here anymore, now you're laying cash on your faulty crystal ball? Bad move, imo.

I always put a $10 bet on Saturday on a 12-15 team parlay. Mostly money line favs but mixing in some spreads to get the winnings higher.
