I think its almost certain that this is where we are gonna be.

I just hope we can stop that triple option they got there at Tech. They run that thing pretty good and they beat the hell out of some good teams this year.

Linebacker/safety play for LSU in this match-up would be crucial.

As a Tech fan I'm excited that they are playing in this bowl after so many years of playing in weaker bowls with Chan Gailey. Tech is the best team in the ACC this year and deserve this bowl. I hope that playing a team like LSU ( which Tech will run ALL over ) will open the eyes of recruits out there and the media that maybe the SEC isnt so superior over the ACC. The SEC is a 2 team conference this year. Tech beat the 3rd best team in that conference and thumped Miss. St

Go Jackets!!!

As a lifelong LSU fan, I can only weigh in with this:

frick GA. TECH!

I hope, if we play 'em, we whip their asses!

With almost a month to prepare for it, the triple options is not nearly as much of a threat as it is for week to week preparation. Takes lots
of reps in practice to play it properly. Discipline is the key - that's what worries me.

I remember--Georgia Tech got its divorce from the SEC in 1964. Been an ex-wife ever since.

I want a peice of Texas Techs arse, not some ACC wannabe crap like Georia Tech. What did they finish in the ACC? 4th? 5th?

I would MUCH rather play an option oriented team than a team with an accurate QB. Specially with our big arse safeties. We match up against GT better than we would with most teams.

while GT isn't in the ACC title game, most believe they are the best team in the conference at the end of the season. They had to learn a new system and took a while to get rolling. Also, they have 3 wins in the last month that are each more impressive than anything that we have done all season.

Wins over Miami, Florida State, and UGA in a 4 game stretch is an impressive way to close the season.

Then who in the mighty ACC beat their arse at the beginning of the season?

quite a few teams as they were learning an entirely new, and very different, offensive scheme. GT is a entirely different squad now than early in the season, and any objective person can see this.
