Could it be because Drew has to really scan the field because his safety valve isn't there? I'm not suggesting we don't need Bush. I just find that perplexing...thoughts?

don't forget the 2 games Gramatica blew for us when Reggie had returned those 3 punts in the Denver game and Minnesota game

right give us those two gramatica screw ups and we are 8-3 as well, who knows maybe you have enough confidence to beat Minn which was close.

Just think how good we will be w/him. I was ready to give up on this team but after watching that game last night I think we have as good a shot as anyone to make the playoffs. Breese was talking a few weeks ago about putting together a 5 game win streak and I guess this team is ready to go on that run. This team has been banged and hung up wet. If they somehow pull this thing out you got to lock down this coach for 5 more years. He has done a great job considering all the injuries and time away from the Dome. I think we sent a message to the whole league last night that the Saints are not going to go away quietly.

The only team we played without reggie with a winning record (Falcons) we got our arse kicked... I dont think Reggie was the reason for the Washington, Denver, and Minnesota debacle.. not to mention in those three games he played really well and kept us in them and put us in a position to win

he handed us all 3 of these wins and the Saints blew it. We should be 9-2 or 8-3 right now

No doubt...that's why us being 3-1 without him is hard to figure out.

this is ridiculous. look at the teams we beat of late. all those pierre catches out the backfield last night were bush plays that bush would have executed the same if not better. the one pierre rush for 20+ yards and a td was nice and finally great run blocking.. so i still give pierre credit for that.. other than that tho i think it's a wash.

i can't wait to see reggie and pierre lined up in the backfield at the same time.
