All you people saying these are absolutely retarded.

Here is why LSU football isn't doing well. Any coach would have the same results if they faced these situations.

1. Future star QB dismissed from the team
2. New defensive coordinatiors -yes, they may be operating under the same schemes, etc, but it is different people teaching them and developing them
3. No experience-younger secondary, QB, coaches, etc.
4. Bulls-eye on our backs. Defending national championship, everyone wants to beat us.
5. Schedule 3 of our 4 losses are to top 10 teams.

Les has been considered one of the great QBs and a lot of people on this board were comparing him to Saban and some other great coaches last year and now it is fire Les, it is all Les' fault.

I said it but I was just kidding. I know people on the rant like to knock Miles for his loyalty - but its great to have a coach that is both a good cach and has a sense of loyalty to not only the team, but the school and the people who live in this great state. I know the Hat probably made some bad decisions this year - that fake punt Ole Miss got on us, really, what other explanation is there than coaching problems? And that 4th and 23 was insane - but then again - it isn't as if Les isn't known for making insane calls. I have all the confidence in the world he is and will learn from his mistakes and we'll have a better team next year.

At the suggestion of Bo Pellini. Bo has not looked at all (so far) like he can manage an overall program. DCs should be easier to come by this year with all the turnover --- we hope.

He hired them before Pelini left. It was more of a promotion than a hiring. They have been involved with Les since he came to LSU and people were not complaining like they are now about them. Also, the talent that was willing and acceptable to come to LSU was not available. I do agree that they aren't the best choice for the job but it isn't all just them.
