This has nothing to do with whether you like him or not...this is the main gripe you have with him...those of you who dislike him will have no trouble.

My gripe:

Since last season, I have seen LSU play only ONE complete game against big time competition and that was vs. VA Tech. Every other game was one where he and his staff "made adjustments". Last year's games vs. Bama, UK, Arkansas, UT, and Auburn (just a few among others) really did not impress me on a whole. If I could get Les to do one thing...stop playing for the comeback and stop having to even make adjustments. Great teams often put their victim away immediately.

That said, I support Miles 100 percent.

Listening to him talk at a press conference is like nails on a chalk board.

Insisting that the defensive scheme is the right one. ( This may just be coach bullshite because he does not want to throw anyone under the bus)

The funny thing about the rant... you must be flawless, or people will eat you alive!

He doesn't seem to run a very tight ship. But that may just be a different style, not necessarily a worse one.

P.S. I'm in no way anti-miles or anti-LSU. I hope we have Les for many years to come.

I would like him to use the media to address fan expectations..Like Saban did so well.. "Castrophobic Syndrome" the sky if falling

Lead by saying hey" Booing ain't cool"..Nobody feels worse than our Freshman QB"

and "hey, we need you to support the team all the time, home feild is a great advantage we all enjoy"

doesn't seek domination of the other team. rarely hear that come out of his mouth. Doesn't have a killer instinct.

For some reason, his lack of emotion on the sidelines really gets to me.

I'm sitting here about to freaking throw my TV out of the window, and the camera pans on him, and he's got this look on his face like he's trying to remember if he turned the oven off.

His clock mgmt leaves a lot to be desired. He waits far too long to call timeouts when conventional wisdom screams to do it quickly (Aub. last year). He calls timeouts when we have none (Ark last yr.). He's called two consecutive timeouts when seconds are precious and could mean the difference between victory & defeat ('Bama this yr.)

I guess you would've hated Tom Landry or even Bear Bryant.

I guess the worst thing is that his adjustments always come after the opposing coach has made his adjustments. It irks me to no end that Les and his staff keep making the proper adjustments to the better teams staff. Hell, we ought to just lose and leave it be!
