I am looking to blow up a gump here on local radio who keeps talking about Miles and "Saban's Players."

How many players this year are being recruited by both UA and LSU?

How about the last two years?

I appreciate any help you can give me. I'm tired of the drive-by radio guys here not knowing what the hell they are talking about. Thanks in advance.

Just to you get you started, I remember:

2009

Sentimore- No LSU offer

Randle- Who knows where he end up. Hopefully here.

Mingo- supposed LSU lock

Jackson- LSU commit, hopefully stays that way

2008

Edwards - LSU

Clement- LSU

Green- Bama (think he got a last minute LSU offer, but we got PP instead)

Tolliver- LSU

Peterson- LSU

I'm sure there are more, but those are the Louisiana players I can think of.

I'm not sure if you're talking about only Louisiana player or not. It looks like you're talking about all players. The list of players in the south that both teams are recruiting is huge. All the big recruits have offers from the entire SEC.

Miles is locking down LA mostly.

Saban is doing the same in AL.

Miles is getting good recruits from Texas.

They're both doing well in the deep south.

I'd agree with this.

It also looks to me like Miles does better in Texas while Saban usually did pretty well in Florida (at least while he was at LSU). I haven't kept up as much since he's been at Bama. Just an observation, but I may not be accurate on that one. Just from looking back that's how it seems.

Or don't waste the effort trying to "blow up" people on local talk radio.

Eh, do yourself a big favor and always agree with a true Gump. Otherwise, it is really dumb to argue with a Gump unless you are just sport arguing.
