one of the best comebacks I have ever witnessed, and so many people are bashing our players and coaches.

I acknowledge it was Troy, but they were pumped up to start the game, executed almost flawlessly in the first half, and gave 100% from the opening kickoff. LSU coaches admittedly had a bad game plan, and players were not making plays. In the second half, the team showed its fortitude, effort, character, and desire to win and ability to comeback and win under the adversity of being down 31-3 and in such conditions.

I admit that LSU should not have been forced to come back and win. But that's football. That is why you play four quarters. And, in my opinion, the better team won.

We are the defending national champs, have won two national championships in 5 years and arguably are in the midst of the most successful stretch in LSU football history. We have a very good head coach (not perfect, but very good) who is a big part of that success.

I fully expected LSU to go 9-3 or 8-4 after last year playing with an inexperienced, 19 year old QB who probably should not even be playing. Had the heir apparent to Matt Flynn not been kicked off the team, then J. Lee, who is a good young man by all accounts, would, at most, be seeing mop-up duty. It looks to me like he is out there learning the game and doing his best while wearing an LSU uniform and proudly representing his school.

My hat is off to the LSU players and coaches for a great win.

Be happy, but...

great win.

It wasn't a great win. Great comeback, but nowhere close to a great win.

Neither was OSU's win over Troy. They outgained OSU and OSU didn't put the game away until the 4th quarter.

Give Troy props. They are not a bad team, but physically, they can't stay with a team of superior athletes for an entire game.
