I think he is, I do not understand where he is coming from calling out Byrd for that pass that Lee threw.

I never like calling anyone out but sometime you have to challenge your kids. The receivers have been not finishing plays. They have not done lee any favors and it looks like they are giving up on him. They need to get right as well, alot of bad route running this year.

You mean the pass that hit Byrd right in the numbers that he bobbled until it was intercepted?

Yeah, he should really be coddling him a little more. Would you recommend that he give him a back rub for screwing up?

seriously? i don't think so. the pass was behind him. i didn't think he bobbled so much as 3 or 4 defenders annihilated him, which caused the ball to pop up in the air.

could he have caught it? yes. should he have caught it? debatable. was it a bad pass? absolutely.

The dropped ball of the game was Mitchell's on a perfect pass from Lee inside the 5..

he catches that we win easily.. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Mitchell get out of the game. Byrd or C.Toliver should be going deep.

I suspect that Chris Mitchell has had more mistakes per play than has Lee. Lee touches the ball almost every snap and makes his share of mistakes. However, it seems that Byrd and C Mitchell mishandles about fifty percent of the passes thrown their way.
I was counting on Byrd to be a big play guy this year. He has made some big catches but he hasn't been reliable, IMO.

Asinine thing to say.

D. Byrd makes that catch 9 times out of 10. This just happened to be that 10 th time.

I'm with you. It was a poorly thrown pass in the middle of the field with 4 defenders bearing down on him. It was thrown late and behind him. That INT was NOT Byrd's fault, and Miles should not have called him out on it.

Byrd dropped it and let it pop up way before he was touched by any defender. Get some glasses.

huh???? now the WRs have dropped some balls, but they also have made a ton of catches on balls that were high, underthrown, overthrown.....

IMO if it wern't for the quality of our WRs JL's completion percentage would be alot worse than it is. They are at least making him look decent, well.... thats a stretch...

No I think you're referring to the pass that was thrown as hard as possible in coverage way behind Byrd who did everything he could to catch it as Lee lead him right into a massive collision. That throw.
