Looks like the markets will test the 10/27 bottom today

Woo-hoo! The bottom held. Closed at 849 on 10/27 and was held back to 852 today. Disaster has been averted.

also didn't violate the intraday low on 10/12. In fact, the trend line from 10/12 low through the 10/27 low also held. I'm sitting on my hands for now. Although I'm going to be pissed if we break down and I miss a big move.

The S&P futures were really bad after the bell when the Intel outlook came out.

I'm not sure we'll see 500 without another couple of significant failures, i.e. 2 out of the Big 3, or a pseudo-financial along the lines of a GE or Cisco.
