It is of course mostly Lee but other issues as well:
failure to get two 3rd and 1 in 2nd qtr
should have punted after the bama fumble early- not take a chance on Lee
No 7 had a pick in 2nd half dropped it - key time.
Our No. 1 vs their No 8 is no contest- he occasionally catches then goes down- the No. 8 for Bama -catches and drags entire defense with him- he is just oustanding.
We had several drives to take 2 TD lead in 2nd qtr and could not pull it off.
FG miss prior to half was a key
Of course the drops as receivers are hit so hard due to Lee poor passes they are gun shy.
Stupid wildcat formation in OT.

We even got the famous Bear Bryant holding call to go our way and pull back a TD from Jessica Parker Wilson- just like Bear used to do it to us- but we could not take the game--also how wide open was his run?

One more issue to be clear- while Defense was much much better- we still cannot stop the pass when the chips are down.

I predicted last week JJ would never see the field- he may not even see the field this week- Miles is going to stay with Lee.

kl,
real good observations. why do we even call it a wildcat with out 2nd back in motion to either hand or fake hand off. what is so deceiving about having a running back 4 yards deep in backfield with zero options????

bread tiger- thks
I am not a fan of the wildcat formation- our 26 is best with a thrown pass to him out of the backfield-- we should have stayed with run and then see where we would have been on 3rd down- what a shame.
