Can anyone honestly say that lee should not have been pulled yesterday? I dont give a shite who is at backup Lee sucked yesterday. He was playing scared and needed to sit. Im not saying he has no future or that JJ would have won the game. But you have to sit your QB when he is playing that bad.

well, Since we haven't ever seen JJ take a meaningful snap i think the odds would have been really low that he leads us on a drive to tie the game like lee did.

It's kind of ridiculous that he started the second half given how he performed in the 1st.

In favor of a true freshman who has never played in a game of that magnitude, sure...

If you pull J Lee out of that game, he goes to the sidelines and loses what little confidence that he has at that point. Then, can you honestly put him back in the game, or any future game, for that matter???

there were times i thought this. but i also think there is a reason to leave lee in a game like this. we WILL need lee next year. this WILL be a growing experience for him.

blame perriloux.

At the very least give JJ a few meaningful snaps.

Im not sure what the outcome would have been. But Lee did have a major part in losing the game yesterday. When your starter is playing that poorly you go to the backup. Maybe he plays worse or maybe better, you dont know.

It doesnt have to be an all or none thing. You can give JJ a series and sit lee and let him catch his breath. Or at least go to a 2 qb system like they were running with hatch. I am getting worried that les wont be able to make the yough calls and fire/bench people when needed.

You are 100% correct. An elementary child could have played no worse, so why not try a true frosh

What happens if they pull Lee, and against all the vast wisdom of the rant (okay...not so vast) he looks like crap! I mean you people act like things like botched snaps, and bumbled handoffs never happen. It COULD have gotten WORSE with JJ, sorry, but I think LEE did get that team down the field to score another TD in the second half!! And was responsible for the 14 pts. in the first, too.

But anyway, what IF JJ came in and stunk it up?? What do you have then? Lee's only going to feel like he's expected to come back in and play well when now the COACHES are as down on him as the retarded people wearing Purple and Gold who are booing our team IN TIGER STADIUM?????????

yeah... that's a plan!

he is what we have people! I'd like to have porche and take month long trips to Europe...

But! I HAVE a honda and work at a hospital.

You can't have what you just CAN NOT HAVE!

be patient, would ya?

Big fricking deal, at least you tried something different when your starter wasn't working out. And Lee clearly wasn't working out in the first half and much of the second half.

If alabama had opened up a big lead then they probably would have swapped them out. But lee kept making a play here and there and the game was close so what were they going to do pull him and put a true freshman against the #1 team in the nation.

Do you really think that JJ couldnt have come in and received the snap? Yes there is a possibility that JJ comes in and plays worse, or he plays better. You dont know since he was not given a chance

did you bother to read my post...

it would be a big frickin deal if now the ONLY QB we had if JJ didn't work out was thinking that the coaches had given up on him!!

and you are assuming that JJ is in any way READY to take a snap in a game like this! I am NOT!

Everyone that says "Lee isn't a freshman" 'cause he redshirted need to realize that this is what Lee has picked up after a YEAR!! How much do you really think JJ has picked up in 4 months???
