1.)Isn't a Safety- can't lay the wood, he's like a speed bump, he can't tackle to save his life!
2.)Isn't A CB- Can't cover 1 on 1, or even help in coverage, he's too frickin slow!
3.)Isn't a LB-too small, see position 1.

WHY IS HE ON THE FIELD????? He is not talented enough to play on a SEC caliber defense. SOrry, the kid is not good. PLain as that!

having him at S the whole game made the defense much better.

From what i could tell him and Taylor is basically a wash and having him at S indirectly puts people who can play Nickel back better than him on the field.

Plus taylor is out of position a hell of a lot, McCray might not be a great safety but he never seemed lost.

He did average last night. He never got torched and made some tackles (with the help of others).

McCray played a good game, lay off the kid. His critics had a point earlier in the year, but not last night. Give him his props when he earned it.

He did well last night. Seriously, based on their latest performance, the defence is not what we should compalin about. That was arguably their best game of the year. They played well other than some missed tackels by the secoundary, namely the starting DB's.

Oh yeah, and Patrick Peterson is the truth!

McCray actually knew where to be in coverage and when help was needed over the top. Taylor gets caught looking in the backfield so much the CBs get left out to dry.

Danny has one HUGE issue. For a DB, in a comparative sense, he has SLOW, LUMBERING HIPS. His hips seem very lacking in flexibility, preventing him from making quick and accelerative moves against speedy guys. I like him MUCH MORE as a safety than as a nickel back, but this issue still is a disadvantage for him against the pass. This is an essential attribute for a skill-position athlete, and he lacks it due to his God-given body/frame.

McCray belongs in the Big-10. He would be a very good against the run in that league.

He played pretty well. Your hate seems a bit misguided. Let me point you to a certain RS Freshman that was given the nickname General Lee.

Bingo

For the "experienced leader" of that secondary Taylor has been extremely disappointing this year. McCray really impressed me presnap always adjusting the DBs and Coleman making sure they're in the right spots.

he is today's Demetrius Hookfin, remember him? a good play here and there but ultimately a burnt piece of toast on every significant pass play.
