be a redshirt freshman starting as QB in Tiger Stadium in a game as big as Alabama vs. LSU ? Seriously that's a hell of a high chore and I think it would be very, very hard not to be unbelievably nervous. I know the position it's part of the position. I just don't see anything coming close to preparing a person so young for that much pressure and scrutiny.

Yeah, you won't be able to shove a greased BB in J. Lee's a-hole come sat about 230...

hope he settles in though and comes through for the tigers

I agree but I'm more worried about the D than how J.Lee is going to perform.

Run it, run it, and run it again...Scott, Holiday, Williams, Murphy, and start the rotation again. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Wear down the D line in the first half and beat them down in the second half. Run the side to side, down the middle, and off tackle. Did I mention running the ball. Lee just has to avoid dropping the ball.

Hell yeah, it's what every kid dreams of growing up, playing ball in the backyard.

Didn't you act out a game on the line situation? I'm old and still do it when I go outside, steal a basketball from one of my kids, step back behind the imaginary money-ball line and let it go while saying, 3....2...1.

Pisses my girls off.

I agree, tons of pressure! I think one good way to relieve the pressure from Lee; would be to bring in JJ every once in a while. Even though he only handed the ball off at the end of the Tulane game, he did well at it. I know it was at the end of the game but the threat of the qb run seemed to add another dimension to lsu's already great running game. JJ's running threat can freeze defenders long enough to get any of our backs into the secondary quick.
And The Defense & Lee need to play solid solid and smart football, JL is the man right now, red shirt or not. This is his team and he needs to Role the “frickin” Tide!!!
