Ranters:

I have not posted in a long time, and maybe I should give it a rest, but I feel the need to Rant a little and that is why it is here, right?

Realities of this LSU team:
1) QB play is young, inconsistent, and flashy -- sometimes flashing good, sometimes bad, but flashy.
2) Defense has tackled poorly from the get go.
3) DL has underperformed - 72 really was that good it seems.
4) Defensive schema have seemed confused and error prone.
5) OL is really solid.
6) WR drop too many balls.
7) RB's play 5 deep.
8) 7 is going to be great.

Reality about QB play --
1) This QB situation was set in motion when 11-PR was dismissed from team. That decision guaranteed some rough play this year. I would argue Les was right in doing it, but it cost.
2) 12 is developing, but still shows youth.

Reality about the season:
1) LSU has won two SEC road games.
2) LSU has plowed through non conference schedule.
3) LSU will finish season with 8 or 9 wins, minimum. But can sweep.
4) UGA and UF can be summed up -- they have NFL-caliber, experienced QB's. Our QB's are not either, yet. Much of NCAAFB comes down to QB play. Just watch and you'll see it. When 11 left it was a blow.
5) Overstatement - the turnowvers have killed LSU and are the main culprit for the lopsided lossed. The other -- poor, poor, tackling.
6) Did you see the UGA - UF score? 39 points? Only proves the point that turnovers kill and even great QB's have a bad day.

I think UAT is worried about LSU. And I think the Tigers -- if they will tackle and protect the ball can and will win.

LSU can win this game. Could have won the Georgia game as well. Turnovers are key in this game. The Bama offense is not explosive, LSU needs to keep it that way, and protect the football to win.

Probably the best post on here in a sea of crud. Honestly I've read a few people's thoughts and have decided they must live truely miserable lives and love to criticize others because of it. Your post objectively sums up our season thus far. Most are far too emotional to actually see the reality of where we are at. Good job.
