Its more than coaching, its also caring. Be proud to be LSU

You can be proud of LSU and its current and past coaches. A couple of months ago, my twin brother was in a Shreveport hospital diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was putting up a great fight, but the disease had just overwhelmed him.

Evidently some of his co-workers, in management, I assume, had notified someone at the university about his battle and what a great LSU fan he was. When I visited him one day back then, he had a smile from ear to ear; he said you never guess who called. Well, Dale Brown had called him, spoke to him about 10 minutes and gave him encouragement. Later he sent him two autographed books that he had written. And when the books came in, a large photo of Les Miles, and on it a message from Miles that said “Fight like a Tiger”. Also included was a LSU cap with Miles’ initials inside. My twin was so proud, so happy and grateful.
I cannot tell you how much joy that brought to my brother. That these fine gentlemen took time to bring peace and happiness to someone they did not know, it just says so much about them. I lost a brother since then, but I gained a couple of heroes. All of you can be proud of LSU and our coaches that go beyond the call.
