I was at the game, and was sitting on the other side of the stadium from the big screen, so I could not get a good look at the replay. SC only showed the replay of that play like maybe once. From anyone who watched the game at home and saw multiple replays, did SC actually score on 4th down?

Trying not to be biased at all I thought he didn't make it.

But then again I was probably still biased.

I thought the ball crossed the goalline, but those that view everything with purple & gold glasses will think otherwise.

No, I didn't think he got in. Once the call was made on the field though, it was hard to overturn.

the deal was that it was called a TD on the field, so the refs needed indisputable proof that it was not a TD to overturn it. It appeared that he may not have made it, but it was not indisputable.

I didnt think he got in, but i dont think there was a close enough shot to see where the ball actually was

Yeah, it was an inch or two either way. And I didn't see a definitive replay at home.

It was so damn close its hard to say, but in my opinion the ball didnt cross the goal line when he was initially down. It was one of those calls without enough evidence so the call stands.

if they had called him down on the 3 inch line, and reviewed it, that call would not have overturned it either. it just so happened that they called a TD on the field.

It seemed that the ref took a long time to signal TD, and when he did the crowd went nuts, but when they showed that initial replay on the big screen, they quieted down pretty quickly - like they thought that it could be overturned.

it's like they said last night. "if the call, on the field, was 'no touchdown' it would have stood'"

+1

The kicker is that the ref that finally signaled TD had NO IDEA if it was or wasn't because he didn't have a clear view either.........Cutrera was directly between him and the player that carried the football.

also, it was one of those when the ref didn't signal touchdown until he ran closer to the player after he was laying on the ground. He had time to move the ball over the line before the ref made the call. At the time he hit the ground it was to close to tell.

I will give you my unbiased opinion as a fan from another school. I am not sure if the ball crossed the goal line or not. It was on his chest and the view was blocked by another player. I think in the end there was not enough evidence to overturn the call and the refs had to stick with the call made on the field and that is what they did.

The RB continued to move the football forward well after he was down. The ball was closer to his gut when he hit the ground, but he moved the ball up close to his head after he was down. By the time the Ref got to where he could see the play, the RB had moved the ball across the line. Chalk it up to slow refs and home field advantage.

Still doesn't matter though! Even though the refs spotted "over-the-hill" Visor boy 7 on his home turf, he still couldn't win!

When the play happened, it looked like a score to me. However, the replay seemed like he didn't make it. The ball was down below his chest and didn't cross the goal line. He wiggled over while the ref's view was obscured by an LSU player.
Oh well. It sucked but luckily it didn't matter ultimately.

Yeah, I thought it crossed the goalline as well, but after another part of his body already hit the turf. It was damn close, and I didn't really have a problem with them letting the call stand. If they would have called him down, I doubt they would have overturned the call given it was so close.

It was close and replay couldn't change it. If the refs on the field ruled no TD it would have not been overturned

Exactly, I just said that in the previous post.
