Every week someone says this. I would venture to say over 90% of teams are already done on Sundays. One game doesn't matter much.

my perfect season ended yesterday, and I'm playing the number 1 guy this week without Romo or any decent RB's. This is where the train falls off the tracks.

Well, I have Romo.

Would you look at playing Kyle Orton, Matt Ryan, or Trent Edwards? Ryan has a bye this week, Orton a bye next week, and Trent Edwards is just coming off the bye week.

Maybe so? I figure the running game will be getting a heavy work load though.

I would look at match ups to make this decision. Orton is a fairly good option depending on the match up. Edwards will probably be fine, too, but I don't see him putting up big fantasy stats. Ryan has had some really nice games from a non-fantasy perspective, but I'm thinking he's not really for fantasy stardom. As for Brad Johnson, he will be steady, but probably unlikely to put up 300 yards. If you already have Orton and Edwards on your bench, I'd just look at the match ups, make a decision, and never look back.

Huge problem for me! I have Tony Romo as my starting QB, and my only other QB is Vince Young who I still have on IR. In my 8 team league, quarterbacks like Jake Delhomme, Matt Ryan (on a bye next week), Chad Pennington, and Matt Schaub are available on waivers, and I am 2nd in the waiver order. Who should I pick up? Should I pick up Brad Johnson?

Also, I have TO and Witten on my team too. Should I expect their numbers to drop enough to take them out of the starting lineup?

WR Antonio Bryant
Yikes. I think you need help in the #3 WR category. Assuming that Colston comes back and starts lighting things up, it would be hard to bench Edwards even though his team and his game are both on the skids. Since Manning has already had his bye and seems to be fairly durable, you might try to trade McNabb for a top-shelf WR and a so-so back up QB. Things are so bad for QBs right now that McNabb should get you something good. Also, Eli does you no good sitting on your bench. Lastly, it looks like you play tight ends as wide outs like we do in our league. As a general rule, I avoid tight ends when there's no requirement that you play one. The average TE will always get fewer yards than the average WR (only exception is Antonio Gates). Drop the TEs and pick up some WRs with up side.

Fantasy rule No. whatever, don't have too many players from the same team! I think TO will be fine, although Brad is not known for the long ball that TO loves so much. Witten should see no difference in production.

Skip on Ryan. He's a year or so away from being a fantasy starter. I like Schaub of those. Check out his match ups for the foreseeable future. He's had two outstanding weeks, been off two, and had only one bad one. Pennington has already been pulled from a game so beware. Delhomme is having a subpar year. Johnson is pretty conservative, so don't count on him throwing for 300 yards a week.

I offered him Eli Manning and Jonathan Stewart for Deuce and Berrian. Good? My other QB is Mcnabb

At first glance, this would be tempting, but the lowly Rams were able to limit Campbell to 208 yards. I pretty sure Santana didn't have a good day either.

Just something to consider.
