I have never asked for opinions before...but this week I am having a hard time deciding who to start at RB. I have LT (NE), Ronnie Brown (HOUT), and McGehee (IND) (also have Buckhalter but not considering him right now). I can start 2 RB with no flex.

Right now I have Brown and McGehee set to start, but I'm struggling with the idea of not starting LT since sooner or later he'll come around. I don't think I can start him this week with the mathcup WM has and the way RB is playing.

What say you?

LT and Ronnie Brown, if you aren't considering Buckhalter. I think he will have an awesome day against San Fran.

your reasoning please....

Buckhalter will have a good day but Philly is missing even more WRs this week and there is reason to believe SF will try to chomp down on the run even more. Plus CB is liable to injured at any given time and hose me. It's just about assuring a good day rather than risk/reward.

Brown against the Texans because they are the Texans. LT against NE because he's LT and New England is OLD. Their defense is shite this year. McGahee is banged up and McClain vultures his touchdowns.

But LT is banged up too and IND has allowed 100 yards and at least a TD to ever RB this year (in some games TWO running backs). McGehee is as healthy as he has been all year and LT is not.

In PPR, since you didn't tell us your scoring, Buck and LT.

McClain is ranked higher than McGahee on my pay site rankings.

I think all 4 will have good days, I just have never sat LT before and it's bugging me. Not a PPR league.

Exactly. Buckhalter will be used in the passing game big time. Besides, the Eagles will get ahead and run the ball a lot anyway.

Always Start Your Studs for those who don't know what that means. Also, don't forget LT's hatred for the Pats.

Have Brown and Buckhalter now, I feel like McGehee will have a big day but the chance his ribs are hurt again is too big.

My philosophy with fantasy is a stud is going to get X amount of points per year. I don't know when/where those points are going to come so I'm not pulling him out. 1/2 of Chad Johnson's points last year came in 2 games. If you sat him those 2 weeks you got nothing out of him the entire year. Then again, if you find a hot matchup go with it. More times than not though, you'll just end up overthinking the situation.

I have the same philosophy, but this year my league was effed up by commish by having 2 QBs and no flex option. I think the hot matchup of buckhalter, mcgehee is good enough to take a flier on...but I agree with you that's why I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on sitting LT.

In my league:

LaDainian Tomlinson- 11 points
Ronnie Brown- 15 points
Willis McGahee- 3 points
Correll Buckhalter- 23 points

Just sayin'

Buck outscored Brown and LT in my league combined. It's 2 PPR though and I said to start Buck in PPR.
