Would y'all consider this 4 point a cull?

Not sure about the deer, looks young, but I'd sure as hell cull that Verbena from in front of the camera. That would drive me crazy going through pictures with that in every one.

I'm fairly certain the one in the last pic was a 5 point last year. I'm using him as a reference. These are in Winn Parish so not going to be huge deer. I have an 8 and 9 on camera that make these look small though.

Depends on where you hunt. I have hunted places where they would mount that SOB

I wouldn't consider that a cull buck, but in Winn Parish he is going to get shot.

I take back my "No" vote.

How many acres are you managing?

What is management like around you?

How old do you believe the deer to be?

I still say let it live

Yute hunt in TN coming up quickly. I need to go kill the wasps out of the camper and cut some kick-fire wood.

We have 920 acres with 7 members. We try to let our bucks get three years old. But as Deacon said in Winn parish if it crosses our property line it dies. Last season I let a spike walk about 30 minutes later I hear a shot on neighbors property when I come out of the woods he was loading the spike in back of truck. If I had to guess he's a 2 year old deer. I've hunted my whole life and the biggest deer I've killed is a basket 9 point. Most leases around the area are meat clubs.

If you are shooting three year olds, let him walk. He's not three. Might surprise you, and if he doesn't kill him at 3.

I don't think you can do much culling of deer less than three.

I would give him another year. I mean you have better bucks on camera if you just want to kill bucks and if you're just after meat take out a doe. He will probably never be a huge deer, but may be a nice little rack buck next year.
