Woodsmiths: finish for Oak table, outdoor but covered

For outside on covered patio. So needs some outdoor-friendly finish but not for rain or direct sunlight.
Being somewhat food-safe would be good as well.
Teak oil? Tung? Shellac? Other?
TIA!

Tung oil would be easy. I've even finished outdoor projects with Walmart baby oil before with good durability

If you're looking for something with more finished look, I've had luck with this.
Or I had a buddy use this and it was good as well...

spar urethane or other marine wood finish will be your best bet
go to west marine and look at what's available but don't buy it there...order it online

If needed another layer of waterlox can be added to for a refresh without having to strip anything. I used this on the wood floors in my home.
ETA: that is not my table...

I'd use a sealer like "semco". A urethane or varnish may turn white, if it's covered for a long time and stays wet/damp.

i just coated two cypress rockers with IPE oil and they both look very good.

wipe on polyurethane would be fine.

Thanks guys, some really good suggestions. Looking hard into this waterlox thing.
Having trouble deciding on a color tone but may use just that. Found a series of YouTube vids by a woodworking guy that looks very helpful.

Where the hell can you buy that shite?

Lowes keeps it I think. It's a version of Tung oil if I'm not mistaken. Tung oil was what I came in here to post anyway.

Where do you live? You can buy online but if you are near BR you can borrow some from me, it won't take a lot...

Not near BR but thanks. Not within 50 Miles of a dealer according to their site.
Marketing/distribution problems, eh?
