Winnie, TX Duck Hunt 11-22-15

Hunted in a pond West of Winnie. 5 guns. Sunny and gale force winds. Mostly Pintails, a few Greys, a Bootlip, 1 Mallard drake, and 2 kicker Hooded Mergansers. Should of had maybe 5 or 6 more Mallards as we had a good flock about to suck in when some shooting fricked them up. Tons of geese have moved in which is a good sign that birds are on the move.

Saturday morning in garwood was slow, although it was cool to watch the sky change as the front came in. Also my buddy in rock port killed a double-banded bird. I'll be in matagorda Tuesday...should be good.
