Some of you may remember my wife having surgery last year for a brain aneurysm . That went as good as expected but we are back in for an angiogram . It's routine but I always worry with any type of brain surgery. If you think about it say a quick prayer. Thanks OB.

My aunt had the same issue a year or so back. They had to put like 29 clamps on hers (clamps might not be the word). Good luck. I'm sure she's nervous.

West Jefferson Medical Center on the Westbank. They have a top notch neurosurgery team here. She had her craniotomy here last year.

We bring you our fears and apprehensions. Respond with the blessings which inspire trust and create courage. Remind us that you use many instruments for healing:the science of medicine, its miracles of medication and machine, the skill of physicians and specialists and those who work with them, the compassion of loved ones and friends. Use every instrument for the success of this operationso that its outcome will be healing. And where these instruments are not sufficient, intervene by your Holy Spirit to restore strength, to prevent pain and to hasten recovery.

We ask it in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thoughts are with you, pdubya.

My wife had some (relatively) minor surgery in Dec. I know it's stressful sitting in that waiting room for hours. But, they've gotten really good at surgery over the years, so I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
