I try to be, but it's hard for me to be excited when we're still dipping into the 30s. When it warms up, I'll be in full on fishing mode.

Before I left for NC last week my buddy and I caught a few toads on tangi river. Had a big trip to my camp in Toledo bend planned, but just informed I'll be here until June. oh well, it'll be time for a new boat when I get back.

Doesn't get better than frog fishing. Every cast has you ready to lay into one. Nothing better than seeing that swirl. Getting pumped thinking about it.

We have 2. One up there and one in fourchon. Best of both worlds. I say "we" but I don't own any part in either of them. That's what family is for, right? I guess I have the best end of the deal. Fish whenever I want and give $20 for electricity 
once I get done with these shutdowns I'm going on a hiatus. No work until September or so. I'll get some fishing done then.
