Went Inside gas station to grab a biscuit and ice. Leave the gas station and realize once I make it to the landing that my tackle box was missing. Sucks you work hard for your money and some low life gets to enjoy what you work for. Prolly close to 1,000 dollars worth of tackle. Thank god for good insurance but still pisses me off, and have had several hours to vent.

Exact same thing happened to me about 7 years ago. Two tackle boxes worth about $1500.

I've posted here before about having a personal articles/sporting goods floater" as part of your insurance program. Premiums are low, and there's no deductible on mine.

Not saying it's not stolen, but I went to Memphis for a run and my gear wasn't in the back of the truck when I got there. Stopped for a piss at a rest stop, figured it was taken then.
Crashed and burned in the run due to new everything and hills, gear was in the satchel safe in the house when I got back.
Lesson learned.

Sorry bro.
I'll tell you this now, you have no clue as to how much replacing the contents will cost. If you have insurance, use it.

Well the good news is that Obama is trying to release as many of these pieces of crap as he can since they are good people and just made some mistakes in their lives.

Yeah I went by bass pro and started adding up after looking at prices in my head of how much stuff i had. I always buy a few baits here and there and didn't realize I had that much stuff. It is amazing how all of those bait's add up so fast.

Had this happen to me two years ago. Had all my bass baits in it; still haven't fully replaced them all.

About 3 years ago, mine disappeared at a gas station while I was getting beer and ice. I was some kinda hot about it too. It took me a loooong time to re-establish a good tackle box again. The part that really makes me sick is thinking it may have been a fellow 'sportsman'.

Keep all your baits in a tool box. They have no use for tools.

Ya'll need this. Has a cord that retracts. Just lock the shite to the tie down in the back of the truck

Same thing happened to my dad. I was in graduate school and did not get to fish for two years. My dad did not go once during this time. Two years later we decide to go again. Take the tarp off the boat and his tackle box is gone and the prop is gone. Happened at his house right next to the driveway.
