Who here has actually shot someone in self defense?

I don't mean in combat while in the military. Home invasion, life threatening situations, carjacking, etc. I have. A drugged up idiot tried to get into my house, and then threated to kill me. So I shot him.

Some idiot ran me off the road, stopped his truck and proceeded to walk towards my truck with a baseball bat.i got out and when he saw mr 9mm pointed at him he had a change of heart and left.
Held a guy trying to break in my truck on night with a 12ga until the police arrived but i have never actually shot anyone but i would have no problem doing it if they were doing something harmful to my family or personnel property.

There's a poster on here that has done this before. Think he killed the guy. Someone broke into his house and he shot and killed the intruder. He has openly talked about it on here.

Never had to point a gun at anyone. Did have a couple times in Memphrica that I put my pistol in my lap while in the downtown area.

I've had to pull a gun on someone. That experience taught me how dumb these posters are who think an AR is the best self defense weapon.
When adrenaline and fear is pumping through your veins, you need a shotgun. I wouldn't be able to hit anyone with an AR

I believe it was GMCoasties son that had to kill an intruder.
Andy did it with the non lethal 22 caliber
I believe he was only 16 years old. and if I recall correctly GM also had to shoot an intruder

Had a false alarm once in the house I'm renting. Parked on a hill because the driveway was flooded. The landlord failed to tell me that the bugman was coming spray. He didn't bother knocking before he entered as he assumed I was working because my truck wasn't there. He nearly shite his pants when I walked out of my bedroom in my boxers holding my gun on him. Good for him I'm not trigger happy.
