I'm always tweaking my calls during the off season. Anyone else like to drive their ole lady crazy like I do?

When I was working 45 min one way I would blow it to and from work. It was a boring drive.

I switched over to Lares last year. Love that call. Still going with my Riceland for specks.

What Lares you boys using? I'm using a full-checkered hybrid, 1.370. Damn call cost more than my old scatter gun.

And ooohh we will blowing them loudass calls in the house give my wife the redass.

I always say that I am going to blow my call year round to improve but it usually gets shut in a drawer once summer arrives.

I usually pick them up and blow a few notes when I come across them at the house.

The thing is, they sound completely different in the house versus in the field.

I'm not too good at calling but keep them in my truck and practice from time to time. Only been calling for 2 years, so it's still a work in progress.

Same here. Call in the truck once cooler weather rolls around.
Seems like it's never gonna do that . . .

I like my Lares and other single-reed calls I've acquired, they're fun to jack with, but I'm thinking I'm going back to my old DC400 and Cutdown Reacher this winter. With a DR85 for backup.

Most of you guys need the practice. I hear y'all out there. Sounding like retarded ducks getting raped.

Why would I waste my time preparing for ducks that never show and if they do they're so call shy you can't blow on one any ways. I have a mudboat, SBE2, Mojo and some face paint. Ducks just kamikaze crash my boat. After I get my limit I take off the face paint and turn on the Mojo so I don't kill too many.

I have the hybrid. Would like to try the T1. Lares is the first single reed I've ever been able to blow. Thing's loud as hell.

i make a t1 bounce

Been trying to do this for years.

This is about the time of year that I put them in my truck. Don't leave them in there though, one year the SOBs melted on me.
