Which stock color. [update with pics]

Building up a 10/22 receiver. Black receiver with a blued Green Mountain barrel. Choice between Nutmeg and Charcoal laminate. Keep going back and forth betwixt the two.

I have that same barrel sitting in a corner collecting dust.
Put a tactical solutions barrel on it and absolutely love it.

The Nutmeg would match my Model 77 MKII I think.
I plan on making a kydex comb riser and I think the black kydex and black/blued action might looks really good together.
They are only $29 - 10% each maybe I should just get bofum. Shipping is the same on one or two.

All about the contrast. If you had a stainless or brushed bbl, I'd go with the other one.

You can see a couple of little blemishes if you look close but this is a damned nice stock for $29 + shipping. Now I just need my new Weaver scope and a thread protector that actually fits to get here next week. Since it's pre-dings up I don't have to treat it like a baby when I take it into the woods

Are you going to drill into that stock? I started to go the kydex route but ended up using vet wrap and foam.

I have the same stock on my 10-22 with a .920 Stainless barrel and it looks good.
