The later you go in the spring the farther south I would stay. You can always stay right there off hwy. 6.

I'd say bridge bay resort if you never been there before. Central location and good eating very close.

I normally stay at shady oak's cabins which is not far off of Hwy 6. For the price you really cant beat it. It is in a quiet area and plenty of room to park a boat.

The number is 504-650-6686

We normally like Wildwood Resort..well kept, really nice cabins/lodges..good launch and on San Miguel next door to the state park, not too far from 1215. (Wildwood-resort.net I think).
They have really large lodges that can sleep lots of people and small lodges as well. Nicest place on the lake unless you're renting someone's personal residence. But it is expensive.

Shady Oaks is nice but the launch is a real bitch..Bridge Bay is OLD..Tranquility Bay (La Nan) right off of La. 1215..has the BEST launch and newer cabins AND motel rooms..this is your second best option to Wildwood as far as nice rooms and reasonable price.

If you're looking for cheap, there are motel rooms across from Toledo Tackle...

good bit of places to stay.. Will depend on what area you want to fish, how much you want to pay, and how "fancy" you want it to be. You can sleep in a tent, cabin, trailer, motel, hotel or a house.

Pull up Toledo Bend website. It has all the locations and you can pick which part of the lake you want to fish. Some have covered docks to leave your boat on the water until you leave

OBC's camp. I'm sure it would be free if you provide him a character reference on OB.

This is where we stay for the Best 6 Tournament. It's nice, clean, and has plenty of parking. It's also right next to one of the better restaurants around the lake and a gas station.
