Where to dispose of old fuel?

Have about 8 gallons of 2 stroke fuel/oil that sat for a while (wasn't ethanol free either) and had the boat running bad so I swapped out with my spare tank and fresh fuel. Where can I dispose of this properly?

Really no good way.
What I do is put it outside in a 5 gallon pail and it will evaporate. There will be some sludge left that you can wipe up with paper towels.

8 gallons is a hell of a lot. but I usually just use it to burn brush piles with...gotta be careful, though.
