I know this should probably be on the food board and might be moved. However, I am wanting ideas on what sites people on here go to.

I am asking because I need new squirrel and rabbit ideas. Getting a freezer full and looking at trying different recipes. Especially squirrel, i am craving some squirrel and dumplings along with any more ideas.

i have looked on there and had some good ideas. just curious where folks on here who actually harvest, clean, and cook get their recipes from.

I know on the F&D board if it's not cooked in New Orleans it's not worth eating.

well i looked up squirrel recipes on google and it got me thinking. most of the recipes had me saying WTF. most were yankee cooking that required a "jar of heinz gravy" along with "cajun seasoning".

I will admit that a duck dynasty meal made me remember my youth with the squirrel dumplings my great grand-ma made.
