I need a dog kennel/crate big enough for a 140lb dog to sleep in.

About to head to tractor supply, cabelas, academy, and petsmart to look.

Hoping someone on the OB has bought a decent one and can recommend something.

Already know to buy a bunch of large plastic zip ties to reinforce the corners.

Any of those should have one. Get the one with the removable or slid out bottom. Makes it easy to clean.

I would go to petsmart last. they will have the same thing for twice the price. I've bought one at academy but they don't usually have a bunch of the biggest ones in stock so check ahead

I got mine off of amazon, WAY cheaper than a store. I would get one with a slide out bottom like said earlier and maybe a door on two sides.

I bought a ruff tough kennel too, they sell them at cabelas. Nicer than a typical plastic kennel, worth giving it a look.

Amazon will have the best price, but I would start with Tractor Suoply if you need it tonight.

Amazon if you got two days. But any of the places you mentioned will have them. Like mentioned above, get the slide out bottom and the two doors

The ones my daughter have are the colossal crate. 54" x54".

I have a 45" by 33" or something close to that. I could sell you for $50 with the pan. Don't need it.

Daughter text back and said she will sell one of her crates for $40, but you would have to order a new pan. She said that was $30.

I can't speak for Baton Rouge, however you may want to look at Animal Care Products at www.lglacp.com or Mason Company at www.masonco.com

I wish I would have seen this. We actually got one at the tractor supply in your kneck of the woods.

My younger male dog hit two years last month amd has pretty much instantly turned same sex dog aggressive.

Got into with my old bulldog this morning and it took everything I had to pull them apart. I ended up with a canine tooth in my calf and a nice bite on my index finger.

Only reason the younger one isn't in the ground right now is because I'm not sure which one of them got me.

The old bulldog gets a pass. He was sound asleep when the pup attacked him.

Can't have that. So, segregating by rotating kenneling and the yard for the next 3 or 4 years. Don't imagine the old fellow has too many years left in him.

My daughter had two. Both passed now. Just big babies. They were house kept with there very own bedroom..

Rando, don't you live in Pointe Coupee?

Anyway, if your pup is the one starting the fights, you might look into having it fixed.

Na, Iberville. South of I10

Getting them both fixed.

As soon as I'm healed that is.

It's pretty common for both of the breeds he is. I've just never had an issue with male dogs before. Females have always been the ones we couldn't have together.
