Too crowded to fish on the weekends. Retired, so I'll wait for Monday morning and hit Choctawhatchee Bay with the grandson fishing partner. Fishing shallow, shallow, shallow for a big trout.

Did better than expected this am in Venice. Had 34 in about two hours fishing with mini hammers 2 and 4 yo. Pretty good time

Elusive, check Cajun bait on 56, they usually have live shrimp and croakers.

I've caught them on a hair jig after chumming them up once before but those bastards are not easy to fool without cut bait or live bait and fluorocarbon.
