Where are the bass this time of year?

More specifically, what part of the bayous are in? Still spawning in the shallows? Or have they moved away from the banks to seek deeper water?

What says the OB? TIA

well, in the basin the water is higher than a kite and rising so i'd say the bass are in the trees right now.

I cleaned 14 fish last week... All the big ones had eggs, including some that were caught in the marsh. Kind of shocked me.

sprayed water lillies at the lease this past weekend. saw a lot of people fishing. most were fisning the points of the canals. water was dropping very hard due to all the rain. don't know if they were doing good, but a lot were fishing - this was sunday in bayou black.
