And the next day you check the camera on the stand you DIDN'T hunt the day before . . . and a nice 8 point spent two hours running does back and forth in front of the camera. Then he gets so tired he stops and eats corn for five minutes IN THE DAYLIGHT.

Better than flipping a coin to see who is gonna hunt stand "A" vs stand "B". You win coin toss and go to stand "A" and at 8:30am on stand "B", a big 10 point walks out broadside at 75 yards eating grass in the middle of a food plot to his demise.

Well not exactly the same but I had gotten out of a stand this past Thursday and checked my camera today and a buck was in the plot not 15 min later. Yes it was after shooting hours but still makes me pissed it was so soon after I climbed down.

The worst is when you proactively pick a stand over another hunter so you can get that "sure" stand before they do......and they whined up shooting a deer. Happened a few times. I always say I will wait now and let whoever go wherever, but I always get greedy and run to the "right stand"

Always go with your gut. Usually I'll pick a stand well in advance. There's been more than one instance where I made a last minute change and someone shot a deer on my first choice. Funny how that shite works.

Just like dove hunting. You won't be seeing anything, then get up and move and 15 doves fly over where you were sitting.

Happens everytime

I shot a doe a few weeks ago. Dragged her past the camera at 5pm. Checked the camera recently and a buck shows up 15 mins later at 5:15. Meanwhile Im cleaning the deer making noise less than 100 yards away

Nah, the worst is when you pick a stand that's been loaded nonstop, and then the you can hear the frickers walking around by the stand that you just moved from.

I was hunting a friends place and another guy and his son show up and I let them sit in a stand I had hunted that morning and saw quite a few deer off of. I took the stand they had hunted that morning and seen nothing.

2 hours later I dropped a nice 9 pt. Karma for the win
