What's going on with my lawn?

Is this two different types of grass or is it just growing better in one area or what? One side of the lawn grows much quicker and is much greener. Thanks.

Could be no topsoil where the grass is shorter not performing as well. Newish subdivisions don't always place topsoil back on top. Fertilize and water should help. Looks like you got sunlight on it.

fertizize it 33-0-0 water it in goooood, you may have to water by hand it will fil in quick looks like bermuda in the backyard

looks to me like a lot of dogs are shitting in your yard. I would say that the grass inside of the fence is slower because it does not get as much sun as that outside of the fence. may be two different types of dirt, too.

You will grow to hate that fence with a burning hatred so strong it will melt shite.
My old house had that fence down one side that devoured trimmer string with abandon and the height of the grass that grows between the boards will have your yard looking like a junk yard.
That fence design should be outlawed!
ETA that you will have no privacy since you can see right through the damn thing at the right angle

The fence is only a couple weeks old. The house is only two years old come July. I know most of grass is centipede. I'm wondering if in that one picture the grass to left (the shorter light green) is centipede and the one to the right is something different? I have no idea.
