I'm not eating my dog like subby. Tonight is fresh black drum fillets (from Vermilion Bay) with butter, garlic crab meat topping, with fresh St. Martin Parish chevre and spinach salad.

Stopped in Westwego at the seafood market, picked up 10lbs of fresh small shrimp, 1/2 dozen jumbo softshell crabs and 4 14" specks. I should be able to make something work with that...

What were the prices of #1 or #2 crabs, if you noticed? A friend just paid 23$ for a dozen #2's on the N shore. I'm dying for something boiled.

I saw crabs $6, $8, $10, $12 a dozen and $35-$55 a bushel. None of them looked large but I heard a number of comments on the crabs being full right now.

The wife wants me to eat tonight. Ribeye, bake tator and salad. Even a cold Bud Lite. 
I will pit a half of one of the pigs tomorrow. I like to let them sit in ice overnight. Bisides, I'm having a ruff afternoon.

Really not hungry. Haven't ate anything yesterday and I ate a couple crackers early today.
