I bought an 8gb, didn't work. Then I called lowrance... They confirmed 2gb or smaller for that unit.
Which is a pain in the arse, because that pretty much needs to be ordered over the Internet.

That sucks. This is what inspired me to try a 32GB card.

MicroSD term is used loosely so there may be a mix up there. In general, MircoSD = 2gb and under, MicroSDHC = 2gb to 32gb and MicroSDXC = 32gb+. If I'm not mistaken, you can have a MicroSDHC 32GB and a MicroSDXC 32gb which are different. There are also different write/read (class) speeds which may or may not have something to do with it as well.
Tonight, I'll post up my 32GB card that I'm currently using in my Elite 4 HDI.
