Yea save for the fact that in most states you cant shoot unless he is actually trying to get in the car. A better solution would be to stay away from places where people like this stage events for the camera seeking momentary youtube stardom.

If armed I would have created distance then got out of my vehicle and kept an eye on him as I called 911.
Unarmed, likely hit him with my truck or jumped out and got my brains bashed in by whatever it was he was swinging.
Of course these scenarios are if I'm alone. Things change when wife and kids are present.

George Zimmerman thought the same thing. You have a wife, kids or anyone else who depends on you screw the John Wayne shite its just not worth it. Ill be dammed if I spend the rest of my life in jail over some shite I can have the insurance company handle.

Chances are something like that would not be recorded, or miss the initial attack. If they he were shot or run over there would be a flood of outrage over what was done to provoke such an attack. And we have another Zimmerman.
With that being said, that due needs to be not on the street, either in jail or 6' under. Had my kids been in the car I would have done my hardest to kill him had I not been able to get away...

One could argue he was trying to get in when he busted the windows out, and possibly made an attempt to open the door when he was on the driver's side. With all those witnesses, even with no video recording, you could very easily and reasonably say you feared for your life. I doubt charges would even be brought up if you were in that situation.
