What to do with $50 gift card to a gun store

So I won one last night in a drawing. Part of me is thinking of trading in an old XD and tossing the $50 in and getting a newer carry gun. I'll probably go 9mm and pay the difference. What's the latest in the compact and sub compact nines?
The other part of me says to get a nice holster instead.
And then the third part of me says to just go look and see what comes home with me.

I would just go and look around...there is always something to spend money on at a gun store. 
if you don't see anything that strikes your fancy, just keep it and go back another day. they may even be able to get you a decent knife or something like that.

Buy a CZ75 if you want something with a hammer and a Vp9 or PPQ if you don't want something with a hammer.

Update. Came home with a XD-S in 9mm. Traded an old .22 and an LCP straight up for it. Didn't even use the gift card. I'll end up going back later and looking around more to spend that. Had to get back to work.

SA is running one of their promos. 4 free mags and a holster. It already came with 2. I'll probably end up spending it on ammo or cleaning supplies.

I'd probably pick up some solid copper rifle cartridges to try. I'm too cheap to buy them just to try, but would if I had a gc.
