For Brass to Mouth: get a work sharp knife sharpener. It'll get them scary sharp.

For the every day carry, I use an original Puma Prospector that was made in Soligen back in the 70's. Nice and flat, not too large or small. They come up now and then on eBay but get a used one if you can

Spyderco made sharpeners before they started making knives. They pride themselves on their factory edge. My Native 5s have the smoothest open/close action of any knife in my collection.
