That's been sitting on the bank for some time ?
Secondly. What's the probability u know what is laying under it ?
I'm usually at about a 3 level, 50%. Sure as shite on Sunday, I picked up an old 12' batteau and it had two black runners under it. One went under my feet, and my kid back into the house at warp speed. Scared me shitkess
The plug was in it so I flipped it over. Low and behold I see a head sticking out of the transom brace: Juvenile moccasin. Almost loaded it into the truck too. No pics... Yeah I know, CSB....
Moral of the story. I hate picking up boats if they've been sitting for 1 hour or 2 years.

If it's been flipped over, it's going to have ants, wasps or snakes. Probably a combination. It's like a magnet for all things evil in this world.

F flipping it over. That's what the drain plug is for.

My Grandpa used to grab the front of the boat and at the last second before he'd flip it he'd turn around and look at me and ask, "How big is he going to be?"
There was a big snake under it about half the time.

stick a paddle under and barely lift up boat throw lit black cats underneath.

Tie it to the truck and drag it 20 or so yards then flip over.

Spray a car of starting fluid under it then throw a match. 50% of the time you don't die and it lands upright.

Buy a new boat.
My experience is there is one 60% of the time, every time.

Laid my shotgun down one time to flip one that I knew had a big cottonmouth underneath. Flipped the boat and that damn snake went straight to my shotgun and stopped next to it curling up. Had to go break a limb to whack him with before I could shoot him

My biggest fear. I usually do something like tie a new bait on to make the friend I'm with flip that shite over
