Just go piss on it a few mornings in a row and it'll take care of it. I've got a large brown area in my front yard where my two boys enjoy pissing off the porch.

I have been fighting it. This stuff appeared to be working when I ran out. Just got some more in. I have Bermuda grass.

2-4,D maybe

You can spray something called Liberty that will bend it over and go in dry, but that will kill the grass also.

That's Virginia Buttonweed. Check out this thread where it's discussed:

Whatever you decide to do to combat it, start ASAP. That stuff spreads fast. In my yard, it usually pops up in mid July, so I started fighting it about 2 weeks ago.

Two years ago, I didn't pay attention to it until the end of August, and it had consumed huge areas of my back yard.

This year, I walk around every 3 or 4 days and spray heavily where I find it. When it starts to dry up a few days later, I'll pull it out, careful not to pull up the St. Augustine with it. I'm hoping there's enough time for the grass to grow back in the empty spots.

After several rains, hand pull. You'll have to find the runners under the other turf.

I pulled that shite out with my hands, then raked the soil pretty good with an iron rake. The aug. started to fill the void fairly quickly. Some of the bigger spots I thought I was going to have to put patches of new grass in.

What you have there doesn't look too bad. After all that rain we had last month, I had 5-6 areas that must have been 8 or so sq. ft. each.

The best thing I've found is anything with Diacamba and 24D. I use Trimec.

There is a Trimec and a Trimec plus.Be careful if you're spraying Bermuda, the Trimec Plus has MSMA.

Escalade is supposed to work too.

I've also had decent control with Image, like wick said.

See if you can get celsius. I spray and fertilize yards for a living. DO NOT spray round up.

First put out a pre emergence granule, then spray the celsius.

It's in its flowering stage now.... Very hard to kill this late in the game. Celsius or metsulfuron every 4-6 weeks

Should be greener than the rest of your yard. Personal experience.

Handful of Scott's weed n feed put it right on top. It will kill that stuff and the grass around it will be super green for a year.

Good luck - if you decide to pull it, make sure you get it at the root. Otherwise it will spread worse.
