I need to find this rep then Bc I am due a bunch of paid vacations. Sorry to disappoint but these guys can't give hardly anything away anymore.

If I thought my doctor or my dog's doc was this corrupt I would just find a new one. Don't understand it. The profit on food is very little so unless a vet owns the practice they likely don't get to add that to their production calculations.

I've now successfully done it with 4 dogs. If you start them as pups, it's no issue at all. Converting one can be tough. 3 of the 4 actually looked underfed. The 4th, well, she's thick, but she's a mutt and it may be that's how she is supposed to look. She does not eat all the food though. The bowls are never empty.

The ones that look underfed are probably just right. The vast majority of dogs I see are fat.

feeding times for mine is 7am and 830 pm..... and at 655 and 825 he starts loudly talking to me telling me to get the F up and feed him.

Mine wakes me around 6 a.m. every morning, like clock work. She will get out of her bed and then place her two paws on my bed. If that doesn't work, she takes her snout and starts hitting my arms and hands to get me to move around.

On Saturdays and Sundays, I could kick her arse. But I don't.

I get up. Because she is the boss.

Had a similar problem. I actually started using Authority from PetSmart, and my dog doesn't barf or have itchy skin anymore. They have a grain free option as well, and it's less than $1 a pound. The regular Authority has rice, but no corn

I'll get killed for this but what ever I eat I always leave a little on the plate and set it on the floor for my boy Rocky.

He has a bowl of Purina dry food also

Then he sleeps in the bed with me

We've fine different foods over the years. Science Diet. For a while I cooked meat and vegetables for them. Used Blue Buffalo for a while until they had quality control issues. Then I just went with Beneful. He likes it and if I'm getting Pinto quality anyway, might as well pay Pinto prices.

Freshpet Deli Fresh from Costco. I have a Boykin Spaniel so thankfully he doesn't eat very much.

I used several Purina pro, Royal Canin and eukanuba large breed. The Royal Canin was really good for the first year and since going with Eukanuba large breed, my dog has a really nice shine on her coat.

I've fed my Lavatory Receivers Hill's Science Diet for going on 25-30 yrs. Solid, quickly dried turds that don't stink when you hit them with mower. Body composition has always been great, with high energy levels. Different formulations for as they get older, with no sensitivities.

I've always cracked an egg or a bit of bacon grease in mine from time to time. Seems to help with the skin.

Diamond Lamb and rice is the best value out there for dog food.

I'm looking at this food and the reviews and everything looks great except the protein and fat content. 23/14???

I feed mine Pro Plan 30/20. 23/14 doesn't seem like enough to me

Be sure to ask the vet about a possible chicken allergy. Dogs can develop this allergy at any stage in life for whatever reason. We recently purchased my wife a new pup and started it on Blue small breed puppy food, skin started going to shite with patches of baldness. After $700 in test from the vet i read on the internet about the chicken allergy. Changed the little mans food to Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Lamb and Rice and now his coat is coming back nicely. I really want to tell my vet to frick off because he didn't figure out what was happening I did, but what can you do!!!
