Well, if you take the number that he should have said, 93/day, that's ~34k per year.
The number is an absolute lie. Like it was already said, that include suicides which is a higher number than homicides.
And look at the number of drug overdose deaths. Multiples of actual gun homicides and last I looked, drugs are illegal...

The suicide number is something they always dishonestly throw in to beef up the numbers. I bet 9/10 gun control advocates don't know that 2/3 of all gun related deaths are suicide. They also probably believe that those scary black rifles do most of the killing.
